The Artist
Painting is a conversation with silence
Born into a world of color and texture, I have spent two decades exploring the expressive potential of paint. My work lives in the space between representation and abstraction — rooted in the real world, yet reaching toward something felt rather than seen.
Each painting is a unique original. I work from my studio in Prague, where northern light fills the space each morning with a quality that is impossible to replicate.

Every painting begins in observation — in light, memory, or the texture of an ordinary moment elevated into something felt.
Composition
Sketches and color studies explore the composition before a single mark is made on canvas. The architecture of a painting matters.
Creation
Layers of paint are built over days or weeks — sometimes scraped back, reworked, allowed to dry and layered again.
Resolution
A painting is finished when it has found its own silence — when nothing more needs to be added or removed.
